More Highlights

Sunday we spent another day in DC. We started the day by visiting a church where we heard a Japanese girl sing "It is Well With My Soul" in Japanese and we were skyping with 5,000 Japanese worshippers in Japan. It was very moving. Then we went to Arlington National Cemetary and saw the changing of the gaurd at the tomb of the unknown soilder. Next we visited all of the memorials. I had never seen the Roosevelt Memorial, it was very different from all of the others, but very beautiful. The cherry blossoms around the tidal basin were breath taking. Our favorite monument was the Lincoln of course. We left our camera in the car, so all of the pictures we have from this are on Jim's cell phone. Tuesday we spent in Colonial Williamsburg. A very neat place. It's eye opening to realize just how young our country is, what a great experiement America is! All the kids took a turn in the stocks. Emma looks way to happy to see Abbey in them don't you think?
