Getaway!

Jim and I looked at our calendars and came to the realization that we were going to be busy a lot and at different times all the way through October. So last night we went downtown and had a night out on the town. We went out to eat on Mass Ave, went to a IndyFringe performance and then the highlight was the chocolate fondue and the Southbend Chocolate Factory!

We stayed downtown at the Marriot, had breakfast at 10:30 and went to another Fringe performance.

The evening Fringe performance was very interesting. It reminded me of something that our kids would make up and perform in our living room. It was very, very strange. The second show we went to was the russian balet's performance of The Phantom of the Opera. It was not at all what you would expect of Phantom but it was beautiful and well done. It was nice to get out together, by ourselves, without kids, did I say without kids!
