The dinos are a huge part of the museum as well. As you walk through the garden of Eden they show Adam and Eve right along side the dinos. They say that before the fall the dinos and all animals were only vegetarians and after the fall many became preditors. There is a movie about dragons and dinosaurs that talks about where dinos are referred to in the Bible (Job 41) and then shows all the legends in history that refer to dragons and dinos after the flood. Very interesting...
The section of the museum that talks about Noah's ark shows a movie of how the flood could have happened. The visual was helpful for me and really helpful for the kids. It also addresses the problem that there had to be dinos on the ark. I had never really thought of that before. The Bible says that there were two of each 'kind' that got on the ark. It talks about how most kinds were small enough to bring on and if they were too large, young ones could have been brought on. The Creation Musem does a great job of answering questions regarding creation that kids ask. Abbey asked several questions and by the end of the day all of them had been answered.
They have a really beautiful gardens area.
And the petting zoo is really neat. There you can find a camel, a zonkey (cross between you got it a zebra and a donkey), and a zorse (horse and zebra), and several other animals. Very Cool!!
Josiah got to paint another pumkin, he painted one earlier in the week in Cubbies. He is very serious about his pumpkin painting. After all the other kids were done, he was still painting. I wonder if you can make a career of pumkin painting....

I loved the Creation musuem because it gives the secular view and science besides the Scriptural views along with rational science for our world view. Sadly, while there are accredited Doctors of Biology, Geology, and Physics to name a few (who also have credentials from Havard, Cal Tech, Princeton, etc...) There are those who dismiss the Bible and the Creation museum off hand. I guess when it comes to the modern education system Ben Stein is correct when he says, "No intelligence allowed." I have never had one committed scientist give me a "scientific" reason why they reject the Bible. They always respond with "millions of years" because it had to be... And I say where are the fossils? And they love to respond, "We have not found them yet..." Well, then if you don't have evidence and you haven't lived millions of years then it is not science, it is a faith that was just recently made up. Have you considered God lately? Anyway, I am so glad that my kids can hear both sides and like Abbey says when she hears what people who believe in evolution claim (without evidence)... That is pretty stupid dad. Yup.
