School Open House

This past week we had an open house at the school for the kids. They all are doing very well and their teachers all are impressed with them. Emma's teacher said, "Emma, always listens and is the first one to get to work. And she is so creative!" I am so proud of her, she struggled so much last year, but is shining this year. (Thanks for praying, prayer buddies!). Lauren knows her letters and her teacher said she is very kind and thoughtful to the other kids in the classroom. She also won a coloring contest and earned $5 for the school book fair! Abbey's teacher said she is excelling and she is giving her extra projects to keep her busy. Instead of normal spelling, she is doing Cesar's English, learning the Latin prefixes and suffixes. It is always interesting to see how your kid's see themselves. This is a poem Abbey wrote about herself.

She sheepishly told me, "Mommy, I know that last line isn't really true."
