We Are Rock STARS!!
As we walked down the halls after the performance fan after fan told the kids what a great job they did! Pretty soon all of the kids were talking about how they were ROCK Stars. Travis Cottrell watch out...the "rock stars" of Hope Community church are right on your heels! Really...the kids did a great job! We started the evening with a very short practice on the stage with Travis and the kids were so overwhelmed by the lights that they just looked up, stared and pointed. At that point we all thought that stage fright had set in! We spent the next three and a half hours eating, entertaining, practicing and praying that the lights and crowd would not get the better of the kiddos. They did really, really great! I was very proud of them and they really are "rock stars" or maybe we should call them stars for The ROCK!
