Camping
We spent Sunday night and part of Monday out at Highland Lakes camping. The kids had a great time. Mom and I went home to sleep and came back Monday morning to play.....wimpy? Maybe...but I slept better than I had for a long time. It was SOOOO quiet! We went fishing and Emma caught the biggest fish....a 12 inch bass. Highlights of the weekend: hiking, biking, eating 'smores and hotdogs around the campfire, catching tadpoles and salamanders. I am glad to say none of them came home with us!

Where is the picture of the bass?
Sounds like a great weekend! Camping weather hasn't quite hit us yet. I'm all for sleeping at home...what a great idea. I'll have to keep that in mind next time we search for campgrounds and make sure it is close to home :).
