Before you read on I want to make a disclaimer: Jim is trying his hardest to make our grass grow and has been working REALLY REALLY hard at it....success has just evaded him!
Our yard has truly become a jungle. Jim had good intentions of mowing today...but it has rained non-stop. Our grass will probably grow another foot overnight.
Here is Josiah helping his Daddy seed the lawn. We tried to get him to throw seed in the areas that were bare, but he enjoyed wading through the jungle too much!
This is a picture to help you truly appreciate just how desperate our situation is!
Now here is the saddest picture of all. Our neighbors have a very nice yard (sodded I must add for Jim's sake) You can definitely tell where their yard stops and ours starts. (Neighbors if you are reading this....just know we really are going to mow it....VERY soon....and we promise to do better the rest of the summer!
